The 2nd International Scientific and Methodological Seminar "Features of Teaching at a University"

On November 20, 2025, the Department of Management and Natural Sciences at Smolensk State University of Sports hosted the 2nd International Scientific and Methodological Seminar "Features of Teaching at a University".

Among the participant were teachers from the Republic of Belarus (Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov) and Russia (Military Academy of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, State Agricultural Academy, and State University of Service).

The seminar addressed current issues of teaching in higher education at the present stage: the problems of adaptation of first-year students, the formation of professional competencies among students, conceptual approaches to teaching at the university, mentoring issues). The event included a master class "Professional teacher burnout and ways to overcome it" by associate professor, Ph.d in psychology Melnik E.V.
